Executive Director & Librarian
Richard Guido graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor's degree in History. He began interning with the Society in July 2012 and became our Administrative Assistant in October of that year.
He has held numerous positions for the Society since that time and has been involved in museum, administrative, educational, library and archival work. He currently holds the title of Executive Director and Librarian for the Society. His areas of historical interest include both the Colonial and Revolutionary period of American History.
Amanda L. O'Neill
Amanda graduated from Rutgers University – Camden with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a double Minor in Museum Studies and Fine Arts. She began interning with the Society in December 2013 and eventually volunteered with both the Museum and Education committees. Some of her projects have included museum collections work, library transcriptions, education and school groups, attending promotional events, and curating the Sampler Exhibit in 2017. In February 2018 Amanda was hired as the Society’s Administrative Assistant and continues to fill that role.
Museum Collections Coordinator
Paige Owen graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in art history and art. She then received her Master’s degree in art history from Temple University where she focused on American art of the nineteenth century. She enjoys using her art historical background to study history from an "object" perspective. Paige has completed numerous internships in multiple museums including the Delaware Museum of Natural History and Hagley Museum and Library. She has completed projects in both museum collections and library archives. Most recently she worked in visitor services at Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library. She is excited to join the Salem County Historical Society and delve into the history of Salem County and New Jersey.
