Ghost Train Tour
Friday and Saturday, October 16-17 and 24, 2026
The Salem Ghost Train Tour will run on three dates this year with back-to-back weekends of fun and spooky stories! On Friday and Saturday, October 16-17 and Saturday, October 24, the event will begin at the Woodstown Train Station on Woodstown-Alloway Road, where guests will travel to Fenwick's Grove Station just outside of Salem to hear stories by candlelight. Check the Society's social media accounts for updates!

June Quarterly Meeting and Colonial Craft Faire 2026

The Salem County Historical Society is pleased to announce an upcoming Colonial Craft Fair! The event, sponsored by Krise Services, will be co-hosted by us with the Salem County 250 committee, an ad-hoc committee working to advertise and collaborate on events that support the upcoming 250th anniversary of our nation in Salem County. The Colonial Craft Fair will be held on Center Drive in Salem, New Jersey, behind the Salem County Historical Society’s courtyard, and will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event will run from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm and will feature food from Creeks Edge Catering as well as vendors selling handmade arts & crafts, jewelry, and traditional trade & heritage crafts.
