Palettes of the Past

 On Display Through December 2010
Tuesday through Saturday, 12 noon to 4 pm

The Salem County Historical Society is pleased to invite you to visit and view this exhibit which traces Salem County's rich artistic heritage over the past 200 years.

"The Salem County Historical Society has a substantial collection of local paintings, but many of them are not routinely on view to the public and some recent acquisitions have never been exhibited," said Dave Culver, VP of Museum and Committee Chair. "This exhibit is a great opportunity to see rare treasures from the Society's collection."

This exhibit is dedicated to the memory of G. Baxter Fisher of Woodstown who was a dedicated member of the Salem County Historical Society, with a deep knowledge of paintings, and a special interest in the artists who crafted them.

Palettes of the Past will take you on a journey as you explore outstanding artwork styles including landscape portraiture, still life, and illustration.
